So the week was pretty eventful.
Went out almost every single day. Fast food almost every single day too, which is truly ever so sinful, since i just lost a kilo. Sigh. BUT i am determined to go for fast food only once every two weeks after this week so, we shall see about that. :3
Come on lets go.
Monday; Headed down to Sengkang as i have blogged.
Did i mention we bought Ritz's Apple & Mango Strudel?
True indulgence.
The apple chunks were chunky and still crunchy to the bite, and not too sour or too sweet, and the pastry is my favorite part of all.
Btw yes, yes i did.
Wednesday: Headed down to Serangoon Nex with Mumma, Iman, Aunty Kay and eldest cousin Rasyidin. :)
We had brunch at this new place. Food was weird. Didnt likey.
I tried their turkey drumstick. Didnt likey.
Nex is this REALLY huge mall with a weird structure. I wouldve loved shopping there, if not just window shopping, but it was too huge and my legs were giving way. I got suuuuper duper tired, and so i just had to ask for home :'( Many many things i wouldve found and bought, and i definitely would have gone to the Cold Storage and Fairprice. (You know i would.)
I mean, which other malls have both Cold Storage and Fairprice?!?!
Before heading back home, had a little meal at Mad Jack.
Yeah, ill admit it was rather dumb having to order a salad and a rootbeer float. And fried squid rings. And a Pavlova. But they were all good, so yay.
Mumma bought me two Ninjagos by Lego!!!! Kekeke, i saw the Star Wars one and wanted the Darth Vader or Master Yoda, but these Ninjas just caught my eye in a split second!! (Get it? Cuz theyre Ninjas. Hehehe.)
But they were so cute, i just wish they came in more colors.
Also very happy i saw these cuz Dzulkurry made me watch the cartoon thingy the other day, and i thought they were interestingly cute.
Would have bought him the Superman/Batman/Robin/etc one for his birthday, but couldnt find them. :/
I have two personal ninjagos, yay!. :3
Oh and this is the Pavlova. Pretty darn goodlooking and goodtasting i must say.
Thursday: Headed down to town for some real goodies with Mumma, Puppa & Ezt. :)
I didnt really want to come along at first, only because town is pretty darn huge and i knew i wouldve died walking just across one street, and being pushed in a wheelchair didnt really soothe my mind, thinking about the stares i wouldve gotten.
But in the end, i hecked it and went with the wheelchair. Besides, Mumma told me Carousel was near and I WANTED MACARONS. :3
Quite glad i went.
The main point of getting to town was to actually get Ezt's new dance kicks. Oh yeah~
Cabbed down to Pacific Plaza @ Scotts Road and then got them kicks.
And then just next door, we got them macarons!. And meringues. TEEHEHEHEHEHEHE :B
Happy happy happy the boxes were super cute and the M&Ms so pretty!! Oh cow, i love these stuff. :3
We bought the macarons in Chocolate, Lavender, Rose, Hazelnut Praline and White Truffle.
The Hazelnut Praline's my favorite.
(If you know me, you should know i love anything Hazelnut yum. Except the nut itself.)
The White Truffles were disappointing :( I asked Mumma to pick them cuz i saw someone say it was just too good, but it tastes like onions and garlic and..sigh. :'(
Couldve gotten lemon lime and pistachio instead.
But oh well, lesson learned!. Next time we buy them macarons, im gonna pay for it!. :3
We bought them meringues in Lemon and Berry.
Im fascinated by the texture, it wasnt what i expected, but the taste is good!.
It was like berry cotton candy or something. Hehehe.
We then moved on to Far East Plaza (havent been there for far too long) and found Sakura's Cuisine!.
My all time favorite place for Thai food yum yum yum!!! :3
Had my Tom Yum Noodles and Bandung and Hotplate Beancurd.
It was SATISFYING, i had been wanting a good bowl of Tom Yum Noodles for far too long and that just did it! Yay.
After lunch we went around Far East, Ezt bought some stuff and then we found this new food place, Punggol Nasi Padang. The food looked good and so we just had to stop by.
Shared a Chocolate Paper Prata, i had an Iced Teh Tarik, Ezt Iced Milo Dinosaur.
Its like a Paper Prata with a Chocolate Syrup waterfall with Sprinkles oohlala~~~~~!. :3

Cabbed back home and then it rained ultra heavily! At one point the taximan just drove into this huge puddle of water or something and the water just splashed (and i mean SPLASHED) right into the windscreen (i asked Puppa what windscreen is called and i thought i heard him say greenscreen ahaha) like as if we crashed into a lake or something and i was like "Oh Mak~ Wow, that was scary." and Ezt was sitting in front and she just got shocked or something, lagged a second and then gave a reaction AHAHAH!. :B
Was a pretty good day. :3
Oh yes then at home that night i also purchased some clothes online, cant wait for them to arrive, love parcels and mails, the anticipation just excites me!!. ^^ :3

And today, Friday, is stay home day. The day started off with REALLY LOUD DRILLING NOISES FROM UPSTAIRS, thus destroying my sleep.
I was dreaming i was part of IME and we were in a dance competition and at one point i had to bboy with Moon, and i just kept practicing that part because i really didnt want to screw it cuz they were so bloomin' good!.
And then the drilling had to come so i have no idea what the competition outcome was, so sorry.
I just spent the whole afternoon downloading a bunch of songs so that i have music to listen to when we are on the road.
And then to move them to a hard disk two hours ago to realize that most of the songs were already in the hard disk bzz.
But oh well, almost 400 songs into the iTouchy. Oh yay finally. :)
Mumma ordered brain brains (or "otak otak" or "otah otah" i dont know what its really called but, you know..) and they said they will send them over at 230pm and they really did come, like at 226pm. Wow i was impressed.
Their membership card is cute, its like a little fridge magnet you can stick to the fridge. :3
And then i spent the rest of the afternnoon watching Phineas and Ferb (love them to bits ahhhh best cartoon EVER created!!! EVER!!!! :B) and the iTouchy is now being updated and synced and stuff!. :B
Well, yes, they are for the BBQ at Kampung tomorrow night!.
Yep, leaving early tomorrow morning to Kampung where i havent been to for ages.
Hoping for a pretty good time, especially after knowing the cousin Aidie will be tagging along, and of course with The Dzuls, who will surely brighten everything up!. :3
I really hope they do not comment on how much i have changed or whatsoever. Not that i really mind. Its just that sometimes you try so hard to get used to things you dont like, and when you succeed in doing so, sometimes it just bites back at you.
I dont know how to explain it, but it has been ringing in my head quite a bit.
Its like, things can get into either one of two things; better or worse.
I try so frikkin hard to get used to things i dont like and im not used to, and then it gets worse, and it just bites me.
Its also funny how we are more prone into looking at the bad side of things and not much of the good side.
But both good and bad things will go away in the end, and then more good and bad things will come so you just have got to wait and get over things.
Also have been having conversations with myself in my mind.
Lin: Omg im so fat.

Lin: But i cant even fit into my clothes anymore!!
Lin: WELL THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET THE RIGHT SIZE.
